Climbing in fort William Scotland: Pretty incredible drive, I didn’t get a picture but there were some pretty cool lochs and Glencoe was awesome. Did 1 2 pitch trad follow then 3 3 pitch follows.

Pointed mountain against a clear blue sky

Road across the moor toward the mountains, seen from the driver’s seat

Loch and moorland through the car window

Two broad hills above autumn moorland

Cloud capping a steep mountain above the trees

Càrn dearg

Fuzzy purple chalk bag with button eyes on the rock

I dropped a nut and went down to get it but it became a slip and slide. Had to pull up on the rope.

Slabby rock under an autumn birch tree

This traverse was probably the most fun, straight up a dihedral then left all the way, kind of slabby terrain but nothing like Wichita mountains
